FM Bilawal conveys sympathy to Turkey for the terrorist attack in Istanbul

FM Bilawal conveys sympathy to Turkey for the terrorist attack in Istanbul

According to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the foreign minister sent his condolences to his Turkish counterpart on Wednesday following the deadly terrorist attacks in Istanbul.

Mevlut Cavusoglu and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spoke on the phone and discussed, according to a statement from the ministry.

“Deeply saddened at the precious loss of life in an explosion at the iconic Taksim square in Istanbul, today,” Zardari wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

In this hour of grief, “we stand in complete solidarity with our Turkish brethren and extend our deepest sympathies to the bereaved families & brotherly people of Turkiye,” he continued.

The Turkish government claimed that a bombing that left at least six people dead and 81 injured was carried out by the YPG/PKK terror group.
