The department has obtained classified information indicating that there are efforts being made to smuggle large quantities of foreign items from several well-known companies.

The Additional Collector Muhammad Faisal and other skilled officials established a squad.

At the Hamdard Customs checkpoint throughout the campaign, the crew halted a suspicious truck carrying a 40-foot container.

The driver was unable to provide the customs import document when asked for it. The team seized items like foreign toys, plastic bags, tires, and chocolates. The items that were confiscated are worth Rs10.2 million. Further legal action has been taken when the accused was named in a case.
