“Repair and construction works on roads in all the seven districts are in progress and work will be completed by December 31.”

The administrator made such remarks about the Local Govt election, to the press after the KMC Sports Complex’s futsal and badminton courts were opened.

Syed Afzal Zaidi, the municipal commissioner for KMC, Saif Abbas, the senior director of amusement, Kaif-ul-Wara, the director of the Karachi Sports Complex, Shakeel Chaudhry, Zulfiqar, Jamshed Jan Alam, and other officials and activists were also there.

People were dissatisfied with KMC up until a year ago, but today, according to Wahab, the organization is improving.

“The funds and powers are the same, only the intention is needed. The condition of KMC was not as bad as it was being presented,” he continued.

The swimming pool’s diving board was fixed and made available to the public, he added, noting that he had sought to restore the sports-related facilities.

At Kukri Ground in Lyari, he declared that boxing and karate rings will be made available to athletes within the following ten days.

The KMC Sports Complex’s great facilities, according to the administration, make him happy.

Wahab said that in under four months, badminton and futsal courts had been built.

Athletes from the lower and middle classes congregate at the Sports Complex Kashmir Road, he claimed, and more amenities will be made available to locals there.

He stated that tournaments could now be hosted in the sports complex because the football stadium’s development was also finished.
